Who Am I?

Hi there! I'm a motivational speaker and the creator of My LifeJars. I split my time between the beautiful Peak District in the UK and sunny Sydney, Australia, and spend a few months each year living on a canal boat, wandering the British waterways — because life’s far too short not to do today what we usually save for tomorrow!

Why This? Why Now?

I had a brush with death and instead of worrying about how not to die, I was thinking I had left everything in such a mess, I hadn't shared the details of my life story and I wouldn't get to say 'I love you' to my family, particularly my kids, just one last time.

I’ve also had to work through some complex issues; losing my Dad without discussing his medical wishes with him, not being able to find my Mum’s Will and know who the Executors were and managing a relative’s Estate with a shoe box of information, which led to expensive and time consuming litigation.

With a true understanding and insight...

I've made it my passion to encourage people to consider facing an accident, illness or natural disaster at any stage of life and start to:

Organise their personal and business life to prepare today, for tomorrow.
Record unique stories before they are lost forever.
Leave messages to help comfort people in grief.
Consider how information will be stored securely and accessed now, and in the future.
